About the Department

The Department of Chemistry established in 2018 has been imparting training at advanced level of Chemistry in general for M. Sc. students. In Year 2019 started with B.Sc. H Chemistry, B.Sc. Environmental Science, M. Sc. Environmental Science and  Ph.D. The research interests of the faculty cover areas, like Medicinal Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Water pollution and  Air pollution. The Department organises Workshops and Conferences with support of other department of faculty of Science. The Department is equipped with scientific equipment’s, like  Fluorimeter, Visible Spectrometer, High Volume Sampler, pH meter, Conductometer, Potentiometer, Nephleometer etc.
